Think about composition//where objects will stand//how they interact with the background
How images are collaged together//how they overlap//interact with one another
Colour palette//multiple hues of selective colours works well//use colour to attract attention and make focal point
Texture of collage elements to also be considered//how they work together
Typography to fit with aesthetic of collage
