Layout ready for exposing onto screen and colour mixing for final print

Once our final layout and two separate images were drawn out we exposed them onto screens ready to print. We mixed out the colours, dried the screens and took it in turns to use the machine and print our final hotdog books.

It was important to mark out the corners of a page so they lined up with the screen each time they were printed. I have screen printed before but never with such up to date and efficient equipment. I was surprised at how easy it was to do multiple prints at once using so little ink. Overall I'm thrilled with how our final design turned out, and with the equipment at our disposal. 

Saefty first! All the safety equipment that must be worn whilst washing down a screen after use; goggles, ear protectors, gas mask, apron and gloves
